What does it cost to rent a home in the Charlotte area?
Every listing shows its monthly rent and deposit. The security deposit is 2 times the monthly rent and is 100% refundable. You pay the deposit plus prorated rent for the move-in month before you move in, and the following month in full if you move in on the 16th or later.
How do I qualify?
Household income of about 3 times the monthly rent is our guideline, and adults on the lease can combine income. We do not use a credit score. We start with a free income check using bank statements, then ID verification, before you see a home, so you never pay an application fee for a home you could not get.
Do you allow pets?
Yes. Pets are welcome in North Carolina with a $500 one-time pet fee and $50 per month pet rent. Breed, weight and number of pets can affect approval.
Can I buy a home instead of renting?
Almost every home is also for sale for a firm cash price. When you buy, you own the home and pay lot rent for the lot, currently $500 a month. Ask about a lease with option to buy.
